My Little Things Love

It may just be a little thing, but I find pleasure in the smallest trifles. My love language is giving. I show my love or respect to someone by giving small gifts, doing little acts, and sharing the simple pleasures of life with others, like my smile, or a kind word. I feel loved or appreciated by those around me who do these things back to me. This is just the way I am.
You may find it funny, but you may also agree with me when I say that God knows us better than we do ourselves, therefore, He is the master at answer our plea for being loved and appreciated.  Today God showed me His love through finding a small, black plastic cap to my chicken-waterer that creates suction. I had lost it the last time I cleaned my chicken coop, conseqentally searching the discharded pine shavings I'd placed around the raspberry bushes in our garden. I didn't find it that day, about a month ago, so I lamented that I would now have to place my finger over the spout to keep the water from leaking out when filling the waterer up. However, I cleaned my chicken coop today and while scraping back dirty shavings from one corner of the coop, a small, black cap appeared. My first words were, "Praise the Lord!" And praise Him I did.
Trivial, perhaps. An act from God? I think yes.
